“What if Ford pulled a Merc GT 4 door coupe?”
I can’t deny I like how it looks...

It’s essentially Ford’s answer to a Dodge Charger.

You forgot the caption!
Here in Mexico it’s “Khe Berga”

No, the dodge charger is ugly. This is pretty.
And as someone that only drives and never seats in the back, to hell with headroom to the lesser passengers!

This is what Lincoln needs to have. With a face lift of course. Gotta have those corporate grills.

I wish Ford would just bring us a Falcon.

I think it would be better if they followed the RX8 and did rear suicide doors, then we wouldn’t see rear door handles.
![]() 03/06/2018 at 09:14 |

you could also hide the handles like some SEATs did...

Not sure Lincoln can pull “gaudy yet patriotic” like a ford product can....

The assuie falcon... I dream of it...

Every once an awhile an new 4 door Mustang rumor pops up. I doubt it’ll ever happen because it’ll complete with the Fusion to much in the already shrinking mid size segment. Yeah it would be more expensive and RWD, but you can also get a 40,000 dollar AWD Fusion so the at least the price would over lap quite abit. I do think it would be an awesome car tho.

Swap the front and rear fascia, redo the interior, retune the suspension a tad and ta da, 4 series Gran Coupe competitor.

I do believe you brought an aussie to a murican fight

put the 400hp ecoboost and the FoRS diff and you’ve got yourself a great vehicle!

If Lincoln made this, even if it just the automatic and 2.3L Ecoboost, I’d buy it...tomorrow..sometime..soon...

Haha, well yeah. It looks a hell of a lot better.

Seriously. They have a RWD platform with a V8 and only use it for one vehicle. Let Lincoln have some fun.

Don’t be jealous because it looks better.

It also makes business sense. It is why GM can turnover its Camaro generations faster. They spread the Alpha(?) platform around, CT5, ATS, Camaro... The Mustang is the only one on that platform. They’ll have to use it longer to justify the investment.

Don’t push it or I’ll bring an LS to the argument

The Falcon died 2 years ago...... :(

No, those suicide doors are useless in parking lots. I’d buy a 4-door Mustang, but I’ll never buy another vehicle with those stupid suicide doors.

Allow me to answer another one:
What if Ford made a Boss 302 Laguna Seca sedan?
![]() 03/06/2018 at 14:07 |

We need a new one!

I always thought that the Mustang platform is wasted on only one car. Stretch it a little and turn it into a true RWD sport sedan fighter. Maybe a hatachback option?

Now that it has IRS... I agree...

The question has been asked a few times, Lee Iacocca originally considered a whole Mustang range analogous to the Falcon.
